Traditional business and network marketing are two different models of business, though both rely on building relationships. In traditional businesses, there is a clear hierarchy of employees and management, whereas network marketing is often based on a team structure where each member has individual responsibilities and can benefit from the success of others.
Another difference is the way products or services are marketed, in a traditional business, it is usually done through mass media, advertising, and other forms of promotion. Whereas, network marketing, relies heavily on word-of-mouth marketing and personal relationships to build a customer base. Basically sharing or promoting products you love to people you know and people they know.
Furthermore, traditional businesses can require large amounts of capital to start and maintain operations, whereas network marketing often requires a relatively low investment to get started, usually a few hundred dollars.
Overall, the biggest difference between traditional and network marketing is the way the business is structured and promoted. Both have their advantages and disadvantages, but network marketing offers the opportunity for individuals to build their own business with a low startup cost and the support of a team.
