This may be why we don't have more.

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there was a wealthy master who was going on a journey. Before he left, he called his three servants and entrusted them with his wealth. To one servant, he gave five talents, to another servant, he gave two talents, and to the third servant, he gave one talent.

The first servant invested the five talents and gained five more talents. The second servant also invested the two talents and gained two more talents. However, the third servant was afraid and buried his one talent in the ground.

After a long time, the master returned and asked his servants to account for his wealth. The first two servants showed their master that they had doubled his wealth, and he was pleased with them. But the third servant, who had buried his talent, only returned the one talent to his master. The master was disappointed with the third servant and called him a wicked and lazy servant.

The principle of the talents is that we should use our skills and resources wisely and not be afraid to take risks. We should invest our talents and make use of them to help ourselves and others. Those who use their talents wisely will be rewarded, while those who do not will face consequences.

Pastor Myles Munroe taught that every person has been given unique talents and abilities by God, and it is our responsibility to discover, develop, and use those talents to fulfill our purpose in life. He emphasized the importance of investing our talents wisely and using them to serve others, rather than just seeking personal gain. Munroe also believed that our talents are not just for our own benefit, but also for the betterment of society and the world around us.

Pastor Monroe expounded on the servant who buried his talent saying "he was not just lazy but also wicked because he did not use the opportunity given to him to increase his talent". He emphasized that we should not waste the gifts and abilities that God has given us, but rather use them to serve others and make a positive impact in the world. Wicked is used in the Bible to describe those who act in a manner that is considered immoral or sinful. It can also refer to those who are ungodly or disobedient to God's commandments.

So why would God entrust us with more of what we are not using already? Maybe, in that way, we have all been wicked. And if so, can we not see why we aren't blessed with more?

I believe that if we all look at our lives we will see just how much we have that we could use to better the world, the kingdom. If we started today utilizing the blessings, gifts, and talents that God has given us to expand his kingdom, I'm sure that he would bless us with more.

Like Dr. Monroe says "If God can't get it through you, he will not get it to you".
